Going to Plugns - XML - Indent XML works fine for me. What version of XML plugin are you using? A release request has been submitted for version 3.0, which is what I'm running, and should be available through PluginManager in the next couple of days.

The version of xml available through the plugin manager is 2.8.7, No update is available yet.

Sounds good that the update should be on its way though slightly annoying that updates break other plugins. Must mean that jEdit is a useful tools :-)

I don't think any of the recent updates would have caused that problem. I have all of those, then I installed XML 2.8.7, and I don't get the error you're reporting. Have you restarted jEdit lately? The class that can't be found is definitely in the 2.8.7 jar file.
